Rosa Khutor is the largest of the ski resorts in Krasnaya Polyana. The Olympic gondola takes you up to a plateau at around 1,100 meters, where the Olympic village is located. Here, the ski area begins with a wide range of options for skiing and snowboarding. Additional gondolas and chairlifts take you up to the 2,320-meter-high Rosa Peak with its high-alpine terrain.
After the Olympic Games, the Rosa Khutor winter sports area was made fully accessible to the public and continues to be expanded.
