Rosa Khutor is not far from the palm tree-lined beaches of the Black Sea, but this water also provides plenty of precipitation, which normally falls as snow here in the winter. The powerful artificial snow equipment (3,000 cubic meters of snow can be produced in one hour and snow cannons are located on the left and right of many slopes) and the elevation level of up to 2320 meters (68% of the slopes are above 1500 meters) ensure the snow reliability. The ski resort is usually open until the beginning of May when you can usually ski down to Besedka (1350 m) or to Rosa (1600 m).
