Family offers/child-friendly rating Idre Fjäll
The Idre Fjäll ski resort is ideal for families and children. Most slopes are designed so that both young and old can easily ski together. Special children's areas with conveyor belts and practice lifts make it easy to get started with winter sports. A particular highlight is the adventure land Askestigen, where little ones can playfully discover the animals of the forest. In the center of Idre Fjäll, a large sports hall with a swimming pool and play area also provides variety away from the slopes. There you will find a bouncy castle, dance school, shows, disco, and karaoke, among other things. Shared experiences such as tobogganing or a horse-drawn sleigh ride also make your stay unforgettable. Overall, the ski resort is consistently geared towards families – and with a bit of luck, you might even meet the mascot Aske on the slopes.

Askestigen
The adventure area Askestigen in the Idre Fjäll ski resort is located on slope no. 9 and is a special experience and children's slope, especially designed for families and beginners. The very easy run leads through the forest and is lovingly and playfully designed. Along the route, children encounter figures such as animals, trolls, and other imaginative elements that turn skiing into a little adventure in the midst of nature.
Askes Skidskola
On the west side, you'll find Askes Kinderland with conveyor belts and a platter lift. It is located next to the center of Idre Fjäll and near the mid-station of the six-seater chairlift Väst 6:an.
Askes Barnområde
In the Skicenter Syd, you'll find the Askes Barnområde, where families with children can learn to ski at their own pace using the conveyor belt and platter lifts. Fun figures and a small race track complete the experience.
