Ski lifts at the ski resort Idre Fjäll
The Idre Fjäll ski area is almost entirely served by modern, detachable (high-speed) six-seater chairlifts as well as a gondola lift. Since the 2022/23 season, the 10-seater gondola Sydgondolen (Wiberg Gondol) has provided comfortable access to large parts of the south-facing slopes in the ski area. The offering is complemented by a four-seater chairlift serving the challenging runs on the east side. None of the chairlifts have weather protection covers, but the large number of drag lifts and platter lifts ensures high operational reliability—even in strong winds, skiing operations can continue in most areas. For beginners and families, several platter lifts and conveyor belts are also available in the valley area.
