There are only modern chairlifts and gondola lifts at Kronplatz. Just in time for the start of the 2017/2018 winter season, the very popular Sonne lift has been replaced by a 6-person chairlift with covers and heated seats. Two of the cable car lifts have heated leather seats (Ried-Gipfelbahn and Marchner lifts). The Ried-Gipfelbahn lift is a real highlight, taking winter sports enthusiasts up directly from the train station in Percha to the peak of the Kronplatz over a length of 6 km. To ensure children’s safety, gondola lifts have even been installed in beginner areas. Kronplatz has the shortest 8- and 12-person gondola lifts in the world.
