Snow-reliable rating Idre Fjäll
The Idre Fjäll ski resort is known for having one of the longest ski seasons in Scandinavia. Thanks to extensive snowmaking and large snow depots, many slopes are open early and reliably. While regular ski operations used to begin as early as October, the area now primarily serves as a training ground for ski clubs during the autumn months. For the general public, the winter season usually starts at the end of November or the beginning of December.
