Beside the base station of the Zugspitze cable car, there is the 4-star Eibsee Hotel at the beautiful Eibsee lake. At the base station of the Tiroler Zugspitzbahn, there is the Zugspitz Resort, a 4-star hotel complex. The towns of Garmisch, Grainau and Ehrwald offer accommodation in a wide range of categories.

A night in the Iglu-Dorf igloo village is a unique experience. The entire igloo is made from snow and ice. The walls are decorated by theme and there is a hot tub.
