Big Sky Resort is one of the largest and most modern ski resorts in the United States of America. It was created in 1973 and is situated in the south-west of Montana, not far from Yellowstone National Park. Very modern chairlifts with weather-protection covers and heated seats, and gondola lifts provide access to endless slopes for skiing and snowboarding around the 3,403-metre-high Lone Peak. From Lone Peak, there is also a huge 360-degree view of Montana’s mountain landscapes. As well as extremely steep slopes, Big Sky also offers many endlessly long mogul slopes. Beginners love the wide and perfectly prepared runs in the lower part of the ski resort. In short: there is something for everyone in Big Sky Resort.
