Trail map and overview maps
The rather complex topography of the ski area, with slopes in all directions, is depicted relatively clearly and comprehensibly on the piste map. However, the Kappe is shown a bit too small, and it appears as if the Sahnehang at Kahlen Asten is part of the Skiliftkarussell, which is not the case.
Information boards and sign-postings on the slopes
The Winterberg Skiliftkarussell is probably one of the very few low mountain ski areas where it can happen that skiers can't find the parking lot where they left their car in the evening. However, the signage in the ski area was completely renewed a few years ago and is now in good condition. At the mountain stations, there are boards with signposts to lifts, huts, and parking lots. Panorama boards, however, can only be found at a few points in the ski area. These, however, feature a dynamic display of the lift status.
