The evaluation is done as follows

Accommodation offering and hotel offering with direct access to slopes and lifts

With the opening of the Landal Park on the Suerenberg and since the chairlift was built on the same peak that provides a direct connection to the holiday park with its 1400 beds, the Skiliftkarussell has the most comprehensive offering of ski-in/ski-out accommodations in Germany. As opposed to Hotel Brabander and Hotel Haus Herrloh, which offer a total of about 400 beds, Landal Park is not a pure Dutch operation, but is clearly aimed at attracting German visitors. Another hotel within walking distance from the lifts, is Hotel Resort Winterberg (105 rooms) at lift No. 11. There is also a good connection to the cross-country trails from here.
There are also two campgrounds located right at the slopes. One is on the Remmeswiese (base station of lift No.12) and the other is on the Kappe (base station of lift No. 15).
