Since the expansion of the Kempten-Sonthofen route into a four-lane expressway, the Söllereck ski area can be reached quickly from the A7 motorway Memmingen-Füssen. When the Söllereckbahn was rebuilt for the 2020/21 season, the 10-seater gondola lift was given a new location. The valley station is now located directly by the main road with numerous parking spaces. This is now very convenient and the previous walk is no longer necessary. The parking spaces are subject to a fee.
