The new Söllereckbahn replaces the old 6-seater gondola Söllereck. The modern 10-seater gondola offers greater comfort and higher capacity, as well as improved access to the parking areas thanks to a newly positioned valley station. The old valley station has been converted into a mid-station with a curve.
The construction of the new main lift at Söllereck was used to optimize the connection to the parking areas. The valley station of the new 10-seater gondola Söllereck is located about 50 meters lower in elevation and almost 300 meters further down than its predecessor, directly at the main parking lots and the main road. The old valley station now serves as a mid-station with a curve. The mountain station remains in its usual location.
