Beginner-friendly rating Sölden

Test result4 out of 5 stars

Evaluated by Skiresort.info, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows

Beginners Sölden

Both of the glaciers, the Giggijoch and the Innerwald beginner area are the hot spots for beginners. The Tiefenbach Glacier offers very wide and easy slopes. There is an ideal and snow reliable beginner area with the Mini Tiefenbach practice lift located directly at the parking lot. You can also drive up to the Tiefenbach Glacier until the winter ski resort opens. The Giggijoch offers many easy slopes and is accessible from Sölden with the Giggijoch lift. You can travel back and forth on easy slopes from the Giggijoch to the Rettenbach and Tiefenbach glacier ski areas. However, the valley runs are not particularly recommendable for beginners. The Innerwald beginner area slightly above Sölden is also interesting for beginners. The Zentrum Shuttle brings beginners safely from the center of town up to the Innerwald practice lifts. You can also purchase a less expensive ski pass for the two beginner tow lifts. There is also a pass for the Giggjoch lift, the Hainbachkar quad chairlift and the Giggijoch practice lift.
