Beginners Schmittenhöhe – Zell am See

Beginners will feel very comfortable near the Areit II and III lifts. The slopes are perfectly suited for beginners here. Beginners can also ski near the Glockner and Breiteck chairlifts. The ascent is from Zell am See or Schüttdorf. There is a beginner area with a covered people mover at the mountain station of the Areit I lift. Further up in the ski resort, the slopes at the Kapellen lift, Ketting lift and Hahnkopf are also great for beginners. It is possible to ski down to Zell am See and to the Schmittental on easy slopes. The valley run to Schüttdorf is an intermediate run, so beginners can take the gondola down.
