Environmental friendliness of the ski resort Sölden

The Sölden ski resort is mainly accessed with new and energy efficient lifts. Local transportation is via a comprehensive ski bus network. The entire ski resort is connected to the public sewage system. Many of the restaurants in the ski resort use local ingredients. Protected forest areas are off limits for skiers and snowboarders.

  • Ski buses (free of charge) circulate in the village and from Längenfeld, Zwieselstein and Vent. A ski bus also runs to the glacier as long as the glacier road is open.
