Our daily contribution to keeping nature and the environment intact100% green electricity, of which 38.5% of the total consumption is self-produced (photovoltaic & kinetic energy) for the 35-person gondola, the two tow lifts, the conveyor belt, the snow-making system and the heating. Mountain experience: Culture.Breakfast.Montafon – An ideal mountain experience in any weather

With prior reservation (T. +43 5556 72290 or email), the "Kristberger Bergfrühstück" in the traditional Montafon style (Montafoner Sura Kees, Brösel, bacon, fresh milk and butter, ...) can be booked daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.

Afterwards, there is a guided tour through the era of the Montafon miners with Adolf Zudrell, the "Flötenspieler vom Kristberghof". Experience the history of the "St. Agatha Knappenkapelle" (the oldest church in Montafon) and the hard life of the miners.

On miners' trails with llamas

When Horst Kuster talks about his llamas, there’s no stopping him – his passion for his four-legged friends from the South American Andes is evident from the very first moment. And rightly so. While the hikers warm up with a punch from the fire bowl, the llama guide – also known as the “Llamero” – introduces the guests to his furry friends Pedro, Amadeus, Shorty, Wilson, and Sandro.

Mountain experience "Witness live cross-country trail grooming"

Have you always wanted to join in preparing the 9.3 km long Panoramaloipe? Yes! Roland Zudrell, the piste and trail manager at Kristberg, will be happy to take you along and answer all your questions about grooming, the Pisten Bully, and his many experiences as piste and trail manager at Kristberg during the approximately 2-hour ride.

With Silbi in the Kristberg winter forest

In Silbertal, as the name suggests, silver was once mined. Silbi, the mascot of Kristberg, guides young and old hikers alike along the traces of mining and the miners. The trail leads from the mountain station of the Kristbergbahn to the Kristbergsattel and on to the Silbertal Forest School, before returning to the starting point. Along the way, hikers learn about the history of silver, what the miners did during the winter months, and many other interesting facts.

Full Moon Legends Hike in Silbertal

The eventful, relaxed, and short legends hike on easy trails offers not only mysticism and local traditions but also a culinary highlight. It begins at the open fire pit in front of the St. Agatha miners’ chapel with a surprise drink and then continues with a legendary three-course culinary journey into the early days of Montafon.

Snow pass with Schneesportschule Silbertal

The first experiences on skies for al little beginners (children from 4 to 7 years) will be on Sunday and Monday from 9:30 till 11:30 and from Tuesday till Thursday from 14:00 till 16:00. Family policy

Children and young people born in 1999 or later receive free tickets starting from the second child/youth. This also applies to day and afternoon tickets as well as for uphill and/or downhill rides.

We also offer multi-day and season tickets exclusively for the Kristberg area.

Expansion of artificial snow production facilities

The smaller snow cannon has been replaced by a more powerful cannon and the daily water reserves have been doubled
