The gourmet ski lodge at Katschberg offers an exclusive wine cellar with fine wines from around the world, a cheese cellar with partly homemade cheese varieties, and a meat aging cabinet. 30 different types of cheese from Carinthia, the Bregenzerwald, the Lechtal, and Friuli await guests.

Stamperl Katschberg

At the valley station of the Gamskogelexpress on the Katschberghöhe at 1670 m

The brewery "Katschbeer" is located in Stamperl Katschberg. It is the highest brewery in Austria and brews 1,000 liters of beer daily. Stamperl offers regional delicacies and international classics in a cozy and rustic atmosphere. The bar-brewery with a view of the brewing kettles completes the experience. In good weather, a large sun terrace invites you to relax.

Gamskogelhütte

On the Gamskogel slope at 1850 m

The cozy ski hut with a very large sun terrace offers a variety of selected Carinthian specialties made with ingredients from the region and organic farming. All dishes are freshly prepared right at the hut. The Gamskogelhütte is located directly on the Carinthia/Salzburg border. Bread is prepared in Carinthia and baked in Salzburg. In addition, toboggan evenings are offered twice a week (daily during holidays) with an illuminated toboggan run. The Gamskogelhütte is home to what is probably Austria's highest-altitude registry office. Next to the Gamskogelhütte is the Marienkapelle.

Pritzhütte

The tip off the slopes: After a 4 km hiking trail, you can comfortably reach the rustic Pritzhütte in the Gontal nature reserve at Katschberg after a 1-hour hike.

In winter, you can take a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride to the Pritzhütte or use the Biolift Katschberg: accompanied by an experienced ski instructor, you travel from Tschaneck via the natural downhill run to the Pritzhütte – to return to Katschberghöhe, you use the Biolift (skiers attach themselves to the horse-drawn carriage with a rope).
