Ski resort size Axamer Lizum

Axamer Lizum is a medium-sized ski resort in Austria. In the greater Innsbruck area, it is one of the largest ski resorts. The vertical drop of nearly 800 meters down to the valley can be experienced on several long, sweeping runs. The ski area encompasses three peaks: Hoadl (2,340 m), Pleisen (2,235 m), and Birgitzköpfl (2,035 m). In addition to the funicular railway, a 10-seater gondola lift has been operating to Hoadl since the 2022/23 season. Outside the marked slopes and ski routes, Axamer Lizum is also a very popular freeride area.
