Access & on-site parking

The Vent ski area is located at the far end of the Ötztal valley. The road winds for a good 50 km from the exit of the Inntal motorway through the Ötztal. The road is very well developed all the way to the high-alpine village of Vent. Parking at the Wildspitze double chairlift is free of charge. Snow chains should always be kept in the car, as the road becomes steep after Sölden and, due to the altitude, snow can always be expected.

Winter Closure

The Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road (crossing to Italy/South Tyrol) is closed from October to May. Arrival is only possible via the Ötztal valley.
