The ski resort of Vent is located in the rear Ötzt Valley. From the exit of the Inntalautobahn motorway, the road winds its way up for at least 50 kilometres through the Ötzt Valley. The road is very well constructed all the way up to the high-alpine village of Vent. The car parks at the Wildspitze 2-person chairlift are free of charge. You should always carry snow chains in the car as the road climbs up steeply from Sölden and at this altitude you need to prepared for snow at all times. Winter Closure
The Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road (pass to Italy/South Tyrol) is closed from October to May. The only access is through the Ötzt Valley.

- The ski bus provides a regular link from Vent to Zwieselstein and Sölden. From Sölden, you can take a bus to almost all of the villages in the Ötzt Valley.
