Beginners Stubai Glacier (Stubaier Gletscher)

A perfect beginner area has been created around the Gamsgarten mountain station. Right at the Gamsgarten, there is a public, covered magic carpet as well as additional magic carpets operated by the ski school in the BIG Family Ski-Camp. On the practice slopes at the Gamsgarten rope tow and the Kitzlift platter lift, you can steadily improve your skills. At Gamsgarten, the Murmele and Rotadl chairlifts also open up very wide and easy slopes. In the upper part of the entire ski area, you can mostly ski on easy slopes. Many flat and wide glacier slopes are especially well suited for beginners. The ski routes down to the valley are too challenging, so the descent to the valley is made by cable car. Ski schools, ski rental, and ski depot stations complete this excellent offering.
