Access, Parking Stubai Glacier (Stubaier Gletscher)

The Stubai Glacier is about 45 minutes away from Innsbruck by car at the end of the Stubaital. From Innsbruck, you take the Schönberg/Stubaital exit off the Brenner Autobahn. There is a small toll charged for traveling this short section of the Brenner Autobahn. From the Schönberg/Stubaital exit, it takes about 30 minutes to drive through the entire Stubaital to the Mutterberg base station. The mountain road is well-built. Large parking lots (free of charge) are located at the 3S Eisgrat lift and the Gamsgarten gondola lift. If these are full, there are additional overflow parking lots from which a free parking lot shuttle brings guests comfortably to and from the lifts.
