Access, Parking Stubai Glacier (Stubaier Gletscher)
The Stubai Glacier is located about a 45-minute drive from Innsbruck at the end of the Stubai Valley. From Innsbruck, follow the Brenner motorway to the Schönberg/Stubaital exit. A small toll fee is required for the short stretch on the Brenner motorway. From the Schönberg/Stubaital exit, it takes about 30 minutes to drive through the entire Stubai Valley to the Mutterberg base station. The mountain road is well developed. Large, free parking lots are available at the 3S Eisgratbahn and the Gamsgarten gondola. If these are full, there are additional overflow parking areas further away. These can be conveniently reached with a free parking shuttle.
