Beginners St. Anton/St. Christoph/Stuben/Lech/Zürs/Warth/Schröcken – Ski Arlberg

The entire Ski Arlberg ski area is very well suited for beginners. There are practice slopes in all valley villages and many easy slopes throughout the ski area.

In St. Anton am Arlberg, St. Christoph, and Stuben, there are several practice lifts and conveyor belts with good practice slopes close to the valley. There is also a beginner area at the mountain station of the Gampenbahn. Additionally, there are some wide and easy slopes between Galzig and Kapall.

The Weibermahd, Oberlech, and Schlegelkopf slopes in Lech are considered easy. Beginners can even ski from Rüfikopf all the way to Zürs on easy slopes. However, the return is only possible by ski bus, as the slope over Madloch is not recommended for beginners. In Zürs, there is also a practice area, and at the 6-seater chairlift Übungshang, there are blue slopes for advanced beginners. In Lech, there are also additional practice lifts and practice slopes in the valley area.

Beginners will find a perfect practice ski circuit at Hochtannbergpass (Schröcken) with the Körbliftle and the Kuchlbahn. You can also get from the Kuchlbahn to the Jägeralp Express via the Hochalpbahn and the Falken Ski-Schaukel and back to the Kuchlbahn. You can ski from Warth to Hochtannbergpass and back on easy slopes, allowing beginners to explore almost the entire Warth/Schröcken section of the ski area.

The slopes in Zug, at Steinmähder, at Trittkopf, at Albonagrat, and at Schindler Spitze are off-limits for beginners.
