The Silvretta Montafon ski resort impresses with a perfect mix of slopes for all skill levels: challenging runs, vast powder areas, and gentle hills. Silvretta Montafon offers a piste landscape with mostly wide runs on treeless slopes. The various valley runs lead through forest clearings or across wide alpine meadows down to the valley. The two ski areas, Hochjoch and Nova, are connected by the Grasjochbahn.

Snow-covered valley runs lead to St. Gallenkirch (Garfrescha and Valisera), Silbertal, the Hochjochbahn in Schruns, and Gaschurn (since 2021). There is no valley run to the Zamangbahn in Schruns. From Grasjoch, there is no piste down to the valley in St. Gallenkirch; a ski route variant can be reached via a via ferrata (a mountain guide is strongly recommended). The Silvretta Montafon ski area offers many ski routes at Hochjoch and in the Nova. These are included among the difficult/black pistes.
