Trail map and overview maps

The Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn introduced a globally unique piste guidance system for the 2019/20 season. It excels in terms of orientation, safety, and consistency. The piste map represents the ski area in ten alphanumeric zones, making it very easy to navigate. All lifts are labeled according to the alphanumeric zones and are clearly marked with pictograms. All slopes are clearly color-coded and numbered. Snow parks, race and speed tracks, funslopes, snow trails, floodlit slopes, toboggan runs, and restaurants are clearly marked. The so-called Ski Map, a small additional piste map, also presents various routes through the winter sports area. A free navigation app for the entire ALPIN CARD region, featuring visual and audio-based route guidance in three levels of difficulty (blue, red, black) to all lifts, huts, and attractions, complements the offering.

Information boards and sign-postings on the slopes

The signage on the slopes is exemplary. The difficulty levels of the slopes are clearly marked with colors and shapes. Pictograms enable quick recognition and are understandable in all languages. The numerous trail signs also indicate distant destinations and attractions, and are often supplemented with slope maps. The large panorama and information boards display the current status and the slope maps in both detailed and overall views (an overview at the valley stations, detailed views on the mountain, and often both). Slope markers have emergency phone numbers on the back. The portals at the lift entrances show location information, slope details, and connections. It doesn't get any better than this.
