Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn (Skicircus)
Advanced skiers will find challenging runs in the ski area, such as the Weltcup-Abfahrt, Nordabfahrt, Reichkendlabfahrt, or Tarlackabfahrt. In addition, there are many off-piste areas extending down into the valleys. In recent years, Fieberbrunn has become known as a freeride paradise. The freeride terrain in the high-altitude ski area at Hochhörndl is represented by two freeride guiding companies. When there is fresh snowfall, freeriders from all over the country come to leave their tracks in the snow. The freeride infrastructure includes extensive freeride routes for all skill levels, a Freeride Park at the L6 Muldenbahn 8er in Leogang, check-points, a specially developed snow information and avalanche warning system (LO.LA*), avalanche transceiver search fields, and camps.
