The Rosskopf ski area is very well suited for families with children, as it is not too hectic. At the mountain station, you will find a beautiful children's area with a covered conveyor belt. Additionally, there is another conveyor belt for practicing. The ski school offers ski courses and private lessons for all skill levels.
Most of the slopes are wide and perfectly groomed, making them ideal for the whole family. In addition, there is the longest snow-covered and illuminated toboggan run in South Tyrol and Italy, running from Rosskopf down to Sterzing. The Rosskopf Outdoor Center, located at both the valley station and on the mountain, offers a well-equipped rental service for skis, toboggans, and sports equipment.

Children's Yogurt Land
The Kinder Yohurt Land is located right at the mountain station of the Sterzing gondola and is operated by the Sterzing Ski School. There is a covered conveyor belt and fun figures. Here, little ones can learn to ski away from stress and hustle. The ski school has highly trained ski instructors.
Rosskopf toboggan run
The longest toboggan run in Italy! It is an absolute highlight on the Sterzing local mountain. At 10 kilometers long, the toboggan run on Rosskopf is the longest illuminated and snow-covered toboggan run in South Tyrol and Italy. The ascent is quick with the Rosskopf gondola lift. The start is right at the mountain station. In addition to regular operation, the toboggan run is also open weekly until midnight for night tobogganing. Please check the specific days. Toboggans can be rented.
