The rather unknown ski area Raudalen is located about 6 km from the village of Beitostølen on the other side of the valley. It is quite interesting for advanced winter sports enthusiasts. The slopes are of intermediate to advanced difficulty and there are some freeride opportunities. There are no easy runs.
