Beginners feel very comfortable on the easy slopes at Almboden. The designated area is served by a platter lift and a covered conveyor belt, and is located right next to the top station of the Muttereralm Bahn, which starts in Mutters. The valley run to Mutters is also very well suited for beginners. The valley run to Götzens is of intermediate difficulty and not recommended for complete beginners.
