Environmental friendliness of the ski resort Hochoetz – Oetz

All restricted forest areas are closed off with fences and marked with signs. They separate garbage appropriately in the ski resort. In the summer, the ski slopes are grazing fields fertilized with pure manure. They have an energy management system for snow production. There is a solar energy facility at WIDIVERSUM. The waste air from the engine room of the Acherkogel lift is used for heating warm water at the panorama restaurant on the mountain.

    The nearest train station is located in the Ötztal-Bahnhof at the end of the Ötztal, which is 7 km away from the ski resort. Buses bring guests to the resort from the station.
