Slope offering, variety of runs at the ski resort Hintertux Glacier (Hintertuxer Gletscher)
The runs mainly lead through treeless terrain. From the Tuxer Fernerhaus upwards, glacier ice lies beneath the slopes. Only the valley run to Hintertux passes through forested areas. Most of the runs are of intermediate difficulty. Easy runs can be found at the Sommerbergalm as well as at the Kaserer and Olperer drag lifts. A steep, groomed run awaits sporty skiers and snowboarders at the Lärmstange 2 six-seater chairlift. Numerous ungroomed ski routes also offer additional challenges.
