Beginners Gerlitzen
The Gerlitzen Alpe is a certified ski area for beginners and those returning to skiing. Special ski passes for beginners are available. Excellent beginner terrain can be found at Kanzelhöhe, at the valley station of the Klösterlebahn, and at the Lodronlift.
At Kanzelhöhe, there are easy slopes at the magic carpet, the Moserbahn double chairlift, and the Sonnenlift. In the designated Schneebärenland area, you can use the conveyor belts with ski instructors. At the valley station of the Klösterlebahn, a magic carpet and rope tows are available. A beginner ski pass is offered. The ski school operates additional magic carpets. At the Lodronlift near the Hotel Mountain Resort Feuerberg, the ski school operates a magic carpet and a rope tow. The drag lift there offers an easy slope.
At the summit, very nice easy slopes start at the Neugarten 8er-Carving Jet and Wörthersee 6er Family-Jet chairlifts. However, the slopes down to the valley are of intermediate difficulty. The entire ski area cannot be accessed exclusively on blue slopes.
