1/19 Ski lifts/ropeways Gerlitzen
All the lift systems converge at the summit of Gerlitzen (1,911 m). From Klösterle, you can reach the summit with two long detachable four-seater chairlifts. From Annenheim on Lake Ossiach, a four-person gondola lift takes you up to the Kanzelhöhe. From there, a 10-person gondola lift continues to the summit. The detachable eight-seater chairlift Neugarten 8er-Carving Jet provides access to the wide carving slopes at the summit. From Bergeralm, the Wörthersee 6er Family-Jet chairlift also leads to the summit. It features weather protection hoods and heated seats. With the Wörthersee Freeride-Jet four-seater chairlift, you can conveniently return from the freeride slopes to the six-seater chairlift. Additionally, there are two double chairlifts at Kanzelhöhe, mainly used by beginners. Further drag lifts, platter lifts, and conveyor belts complete the range of facilities.
A look back: The Gerlitzen Alpe mountain railways are the most traditional cable car company in Carinthia. The first Kanzelbahn was already opened in 1928.
