The Gerlitzen Alpe ski resort is located in the heart of Carinthia. Villach is only 8 km from the Kanzelbahn. With Annenheim and Klösterle, there are two main entry points to the ski area.
From the Tauern motorway, the valley station of the Kanzelbahn in Annenheim on Lake Ossiach can be reached within a few minutes. There is a free parking garage with a parking deck here. Additional parking spaces are easily accessible by shuttle bus. Access to and from the ski area is via the Kanzelbahn, as there is no valley run here. The second main entry point with the Klösterlebahn is located in Klösterle near Arriach. Numerous free parking spaces are available directly at the slopes.
There are also parking spaces on the Gerlitzen, mainly intended for overnight guests. However, it is recommended to park at the valley stations of the Kanzelbahn or Klösterlebahn. The access roads to the Gerlitzen are steep, narrow, and in some sections subject to tolls.
