Gastronomy tip

Panoramarestaurant Hoadl-Haus

At the mountain station of the Hoadl and Olympiabahn at 2,340 m

Fascinating views of the mountains or the Inn Valley. In suitable weather, the outer window front is raised: total panorama – a wonderful place to eat and the largest covered sun terrace in Austria. The building won the ISR Architecture Award in 2009. It features a self-service restaurant with a wide variety of options and 600 seats, as well as a small à la carte restaurant.

Mountain hut tip

Sunnalm

At the Karleitenabfahrt at 2,050 m

Centrally located in the ski area with the best view of the Golden Roofpark. Great sun terrace and beautiful modern wooden architecture. Good soups and classic alpine dishes in the self-service restaurant and table-service area.

Pleisenhütte (Bärenhütte)

At the valley station of the Pleisenbahn at 1,840 m

Hearty home-style cuisine is served at the mountain hut run by the Freisinger family. Of all the huts in the ski area, it has the most Tyrolean charm. It is rather small and usually very popular.

Der weiße Rausch

At the end of slopes 3 and 4 at 1,600 m

"Der weiße Rausch" is not a traditional hut, but a modern bistro bar located in the Snowsport Tirol - Lizum 1600 competence center. Very nice atmosphere and terrace directly on the slope. At lunchtime, soups, pasta, and burgers are served; in the afternoon, sausages and soups. In the evening, it is open only for overnight guests.
