Challenging descents at Birgitzköpfl, demanding ski routes at Hoadl and Pleisen, as well as plenty of open terrain for deep-snow and mogul enthusiasts. Advanced skiers and freeriders will get their money’s worth in Axamer Lizum, which has already hosted the Open Faces Freeride Contest several times! There is a Freeride Checkpoint set up at Hoadl.
On the Axamer Lizum website, unsecured freeride tracks are described, such as Denkmalhang Dohlennest, Lizumer Grube, Hoadlsattel, Grubenbach, Kögelsteig, Pleisengipfel, and Pleisen Rodelbahn.
