Ski lifts at the ski resort Åre
The Åre ski resort offers a wide range of different lifts, from the modern combination lift to the platter lift. The Åreskutan, which is also the highest point in the ski area, can be reached via the nearly 3-kilometer-long aerial tramway directly from Åre By. On the front side of Åreskutan, there is the modern combination lift (8-seater chair and 8-seater gondola) and several chairlifts. The Sadeln (the connection between Åre and Björnen) can be reached from both sides with a fast six-seater chairlift. The Sadelexpressen even features weather protection covers and heated seats. Directly from the center of Åre, the historic Bergbanan (funicular railway) takes guests comfortably up to the slopes. On the entire backside of Åreskutan, around Rödkullen and in Åre Björnen, there are only drag lifts and platter lifts. Several conveyor belts for children and beginners complete the offering.
