With the WIDIVERSUM Hochoetz, a comprehensive and outstanding offer for families has been created. In WIDIs Kinderland and at the practice lifts, learning to ski is made easy. Four practice lifts in Hochoetz, one practice lift in Ochsengarten, and child-friendly slopes offer fun on the slopes for the whole family. At the Hochoetz mountain station, children from the age of 2 are cared for in a kindergarten.
WIDIs piste tips, the children's course "On the Trail of Wild Animals", WIDIs Funpark, the children's theater, WIDIs MOVIESHUTTLE, WIDIs Rally, as well as WIDIs play and slide park provide further first-class attractions. There are also special Happy Family Weeks with exclusive discounts, as well as a young family pass for families with small children.

WIDIs Kids’ Land & practice lifts
Learning to ski made easy! Right next to the Hochoetz mountain station, you'll find the large WIDIs Kinderland. You can reach it quickly and easily with the gondola lifts from Oetz or Ochsengarten. Hochoetz offers ideal conditions for little snow enthusiasts to learn how to ski. Fun and enjoyment are the main focus in the designated children's areas with magic carpets. As soon as the first skiing skills are learned, practice lifts and child-friendly slopes are available right around the mountain station. The mascot WIDI is always there. WIDI Kinderland is supervised by three ski schools: Skischule Mali, Skischule AGE, Skischule Oetz-Hochoetz.

In WIDIs Pistentipps Parcours, children are taught the slope rules in a playful way.
Children's course "On the Trail of Wild Animals"
On descent no. 9, there is a children's course that leads right through the forest. Local animals are hidden here, waiting to be found. You can take the Ochsengartenbahn back to the mountain station.
WIDIs Funpark
At almost 2,100 meters above sea level, directly at the Balbach chairlift, you'll find WIDIs Funpark. With wave tracks, mini kickers, easy boxes, a snail, banked turns, and a speed track, it is perfect for freestyle beginners, children, and families.
Kindergarten Hochoetz
The Hochoetz kindergarten is open daily from 8:45 am to 4:00 pm and welcomes all children from the age of 2. While parents are out skiing on the slopes, the little ones are in good hands here and are cared for by professional kindergarten teachers.
WIDIs MOVIESHUTTLE
The thrilling 5D adventure is unique among Austria's ski resorts. In a small cinema, the story of the WIDIVERSUM is told through a 5D multimedia simulation. WIDIs MOVIESHUTTLE is located on the lower level of the panorama restaurant at the mountain station of the Acherkogelbahn.
My children's theater
Every week, a children's theater at the kindergarten by the Panoramarestaurant Hochoetz delights young skiers.
WIDIs play and slide park
In the WIDIVERSUM Hochoetz, children can enjoy several exciting play stations even in winter. The play stations and slides featuring mascot WIDI are located at the mountain station of the gondola lifts next to the panorama restaurant.
