Family offers/child-friendly rating Winterberg (Skiliftkarussell)
The Winterberg Skiliftkarussell offers a range of child-friendly options. Not only are there numerous easy slopes, but also chairlifts with child safety features and comfortable conveyor belts at Herrloh and Rauher Busch.
Three ski schools teach beginners from the age of five how to ski (the Skischule Poppenberg also offers half-day Bambini courses for children aged three to five). Childcare during lunchtime is available at Skischule Winterberg.
At Herrloh, there is a colorful Kinderland covering around 10,000 square meters, featuring a magic carpet, colorful figures, a tipi tent, and various courses. There is also a Kinderland at the four-seater chairlift Rauher Busch (No. 12), with all kinds of games and a conveyor belt. There, the Neue Skischule Winterberg offers supervision for kids from the age of 3 during holidays and on weekends for children aged 3 to 4 (however, not during lunchtime, but only during course hours).
The restaurants and ski lodges usually also offer children's portions.

Snow paradise for kids
A 110 m long conveyor belt serves a toboggan slope (on the left) and a children's ski slope with figures, a tipi, waves, and a slalom course. Separated from the Rauher Busch ski slope and therefore wonderfully quiet. The snow paradise is easily accessible from the valley station of the Rauher Busch 4-seater chairlift or via the parking lots at the practice lifts.
Astenstraße toboggan lift
A little below the practice lifts at Herrloh (as well as parking lot No. 1), the Astenstraße toboggan lift (No. 16) starts. The snow-covered run leads down the mountain in several curves. Another toboggan lift is located at Bremberg (No. 20), accessible via parking lot No. 2. This lift serves a wide, moderately sloped toboggan hill.
