Après-ski is a big deal in Winterberg, especially on floodlit evenings when, for many visitors, the social aspect of snow sports takes center stage. Later in the evening, the action moves from the valley stations of the lifts and cable cars to the center of Winterberg, where you'll find numerous bars, pubs, and clubs. These are popular not only with holiday guests but also with young people from all over the Hochsauerland region, as Winterberg is the go-to nightlife destination in the area.

Valley station chairlift Rauher Busch – Lift 12
Après-ski bar with a convertible roof that can be half-opened in good weather, located right next to the ski slope. Open daily during the winter season while the lifts are operating, from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, and on Fridays and Saturdays until 11:30 pm – after that, the staff will be happy to call a taxi for you.

Rustic furnishings, a fireplace, lively music, friendly service, and affordable beer – these are the ingredients that have made Möppis Hütte one of the most popular après-ski locations in Winterberg.

The most traditional nightclub in the Sauerland with six bar areas on five levels, featuring three music genres. The audience is aged 20 and above. Opening hours: Fridays and Saturdays as well as before public holidays from 8 pm.

On Waltenberg between the town center and the ski area
Music bar with sports broadcasts and free Wi-Fi, open Wednesday to Sunday from 8 pm as well as during Bundesliga and Champions League matches.
