At the Stubai Glacier, a lot is done to ensure families with children have an especially pleasant stay. Children up to 10 years old and accompanying grandparents aged 80 and above can use the lifts and cable cars free of charge.

The BIG Family Ski-Camp is located right in the ski area at the Gamsgarten mountain station. The area offers everything for an excellent family holiday. Children learn to ski in the children's area with several magic carpets, a practice lift, and easy slopes. There is also a children's restaurant. The BIG Family Ski-Camp is operated by the Neustift Ski School. A kindergarten looks after children from the age of 3, even if they are not skiing.

Other family highlights include the BIG Family Fun Slope, the BIG Family Boardercross, and the BIG Family Schneeburg. Snow groomer rides for children are also offered. The ice grotto is another highlight.

BIG Family Ski Camp and Children's Area

At the Gamsgarten mountain station, the BIG Family Ski-Camp awaits with four covered magic carpets and plenty of imaginative decorations. The children's area is operated by the Neustift ski school. Here, children learn to ski with lots of fun and receive comprehensive supervision. Lunchtime supervision takes place in the children's restaurant.

BIG Family Kindergarten

The indoor kindergarten is located at the Gamsgarten mountain station. Children from the age of 3 are warmly welcome. The offer is aimed at children who are not yet participating in ski lessons, while parents enjoy the slopes.

The Fun Slope at Eisjochferner offers waves, jumps, and steep banked turns. Fun for the whole family!

Near the Eisgrat mountain station, you can visit an ice cave. On the approximately 200-meter-long circular tour, you immerse yourself in the cool glacier ice. A fair entrance fee is charged.
