1/3 Albonabahn I
The new Albonabahn I in the Albona/Valfagehr ski area operated by Stubener Bergbahnen replaces the old double chairlift along almost the same route. The mountain station has been moved about 200 meters down the valley and is now located directly next to the Albona Mitte mountain restaurant. The single-story valley station building houses the hydraulic tensioning system, the station conveyor system, the gondola terminal with maintenance platform, public restrooms, storage rooms, a staff room, and the entry and exit points for the cable car. With the new lift, the quality in the Ski Arlberg ski area is significantly improved, and cold rides up the mountain are now a thing of the past.
