The Sportgastein high valley is ideal for cross-country skiers. A selection of routes for classic or skating style can be found at a snow-reliable elevation of 1,600 metres. The attractive high-altitude cross-country trails are open until late spring. The Olympic and World Champion Bernhard Gruber also appreciates these trails as an ideal and beautifully scenic training area. You can stop off for a break in the Valeriehaus and Goldbergstub'n.
