The officially recognized climatic health resort Clausthal-Zellerfeld is located in the center of the Upper Harz. In addition to its central location in the Harz Nature Park, the countless ponds surrounding the traditional mining and university town give it a very special charm. The Clausthal-Zellerfeld ski lift on Spiegelthaler Straße towards the Waldweben campsite has been completely dismantled and is no longer in operation.
