Solitude offers over 80 runs and three bowls. The terrain is very diverse and the snow quality is often excellent. Groomed and ungroomed runs, easy to difficult slopes, powder fields, steep forest descents, runs through trees and woods (tree skiing), and cliffs all delight within the controlled ski area boundaries.
Easy slopes are located near the base. Most of the runs are intermediate and advanced. Honeycomb Canyon is particularly beautiful. The ski area is located in the western foothills of the Rocky Mountains in the Wasatch Mountains. Solitude is very popular with locals.
