The new Flying Mozart Gondola lift
The new Flying Mozart gondola lift is more than just a replacement for its 33-year-old predecessor. It covers the distance from Wagrain/Kirchboden to the 1,890-meter-high Grießenkar in just a few minutes. In combination with the Panorama Link connecting lift that went into operation last winter, the new lift completes the diverse range of winter sports on offer in the Snow Space Salzburg ski area and thus enables connected skiing enjoyment across 12 peaks and 5 valleys.2020/2021
Construction of the Panorama Link gondola lift enables new ski connection
NEW from winter 2020/21: The new ski area connection with the Panorama Link gondola lift enables skiing from A - Z, from Alpendorf to Zauchensee. The new cable car connects the Grießenkar in Flachau with the Shuttleberg in Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl and the World Cup town of Zauchensee and opens up an unbeatable variety of offers to skiers on 210 kilometers of slopes - and all of this can be done in one day and with just 1 ski ticket.2018/2019
Sonntagskogelbahn 2

Kidsrun Flachau
Snow Space Salzburg already offers several highlights for children and teenagers along the slopes, such as the Snowpark Alpendorf and the Funslope Wagrain. This year, the range of attractions is being expanded with another highlight: the Kidsrun in Flachau. Over waves, steep turns, and simple obstacles, through a snow tunnel and under rings – this makes skiing a great adventure for the little ones.Hermann's Most Beautiful Spots: Hermann Maier Tour
With over 6,700 meters of elevation, 35 kilometers of slopes, and 20 cable cars, you can explore the Snow Space Salzburg ski area in Flachau, Wagrain, and St. Johann-Alpendorf in just one day – and it’s easy: with the new Hermann Maier Tour. Following in the footsteps of Flachau’s ski star Hermann Maier, signposts guide you through the ski area, past the most beautiful spots, the biggest highlights, and the best panoramic views. Along the way, you can also take on the Snow Space Salzburg Challenge.Sonntagskogel chairlift 2
Make way for more comfort and greater capacity: The new 8-seater Sonntagskogel 2 chair lift connects the Grafenberg in Wagrain with the Gernkogel in St. Johann-Alpendorf. The increased capacity reduces waiting times and makes it easier to travel between the mountains. A conveyor automatically adjusts to the size of the passenger and ensures safe access. A weather protection hood, seat heating system and automatic locking of the restraining bar enable skiers to travel in comfort.2017/2018
Snow Space Salzburg Challenge
Starting from the 2017/18 winter season, the ski resorts Flachau, Wagrain, and St. Johann-Alpendorf will operate under the joint brand Snow Space Salzburg. And right from the start, there’s an exciting new feature: the Snow Space Salzburg Challenge. In this challenge, you have to master seven disciplines. These include, for example, the photo point at the Hermann Maier FIS World Cup slope in Flachau, a Skimovie giant slalom in Wagrain, and a Skimovie parallel slalom in St. Johann-Alpendorf.2014/2015
