The Raketenlift is a so-called Va et Vient rope lift for up to 6 people. The name comes from French and means "coming and going." What makes this lift special is that there are only two bars, each with 6 plates. Skiers board at the bottom and exit at the top. The two bars operate in a pendulum system. The lift always stops for boarding and exiting. The speed can be adjusted, but most of the time you travel so quickly that it feels like a detachable lift, getting you up the mountain very fast. That's also where the name Raketenlift comes from. However, the transport capacity is limited. This type of ski lift exists in only 3 ski resorts worldwide.
