The Raketenlift is a so-called Va et Vient rope lift for up to 6 people. The name comes from French and means "coming and going." What makes this lift special is that there are only two bars, each with 6 plates. Skiers board at the bottom and disembark at the top. The two bars operate in a pendulum system. The lift always stops for boarding and disembarking. The speed can be adjusted, but most of the time you travel so quickly that it feels like a detachable lift, getting you up the mountain very fast. Hence the name Raketenlift. However, the transport capacity is limited. This type of ski lift exists in only 3 ski resorts worldwide.
