Ski lifts at the ski resort Silvretta Montafon
The Silvretta Montafon ski area is equipped with modern lifts. From the valley, guests are usually transported up the mountain with gondola lifts. Since the 2021/22 season, visitors can reach the ski area from St. Gallenkirch with the brand-new, semi-autonomous 10-seater gondola lift Valisera in two sections. The new valley station with the Silvretta Park Montafon is the new central hub of Silvretta Montafon.
In the Nova sector of the ski area, there are almost exclusively modern chairlifts, some with weather protection covers and heated seats. Since winter 2016/17, the fastest eight-seater chairlift in Vorarlberg with covers and heated seats has been operating here. The Silvretta Bahn transports winter sports enthusiasts uphill at nearly 6 m/s. In the Hochjoch sector, the main connections are equipped with 8-seater gondola lifts, an 8-seater chairlift, and additional chairlifts. The ski area is complemented by drag lifts and platter lifts. Conveyor belts are available for beginners. The ski schools operate numerous additional conveyor belts.
